Our camps are now in their 9th year and they have developed over the years to offer a wide range of activities to choose from.

The camps run for 5 days and you have the choice of staying with us for the 5 days or going home every evening.

We also offer a range of weekend adventures for young people from surfing to mountain challenges. We even offer an adventure weekend for younger children with our Little Indians weekend.

Halloween Camp

Our Halloween Camp runs for a full weekend from 28th – 30th October.
You can come as a Day Camper £35 (inc lunch) or a Residential Camper (1 night or 2) 1 night £55 per person or full weekend £99.  Click here for more info

Mountain Challenge
!

Distance 45km, 2.5 days

Age Group 14 – 17 year olds

Dates 5 -7 August

Cost £100 per person

Maximum Number 15 persons per trip.

With its endless miles of trails, rivers, lakes and forests, the Mourne Mountain range is truly an area of outstanding natural beauty. This challenge will see participants take part in a 45 Km walk spanning 2 ½ days. Starting in Newcastle participants will climb the highest mountain in the North (Slieve Donard) before setting off in the direction of Rostrevor and East Coast Adventure beyond.

Little Indians Discovery Weekend

Age Group 8-12 year olds

Dates 5-7 August

Cost £100 per person

Maximum Number 20 persons per trip.

This programme has been designed with the younger camper in mind. At East Coast Adventure we recognise that 8-12 year olds have very different needs to that of teenagers. The little Indians will camp out in our brand new Tipi’s on the grounds of East Coast Adventure and take part in a large variety of adventure activities. All food, activities and equipment will be provided. While the Little Indians will be camping, they are strictly supervised with a camp leader looking after and sleeping beside each Tipi. All East Coast Adventure Tipis are weather tight and have a solid wood floor to keep it’s little occupants dry and warm.

 

Survivor
!

Group 13-17 year olds

Dates 5-7 August

Cost £120 per person

Maximum Number 20 persons per trip.

Based in the Mourne Mountains, the Survivor programme is aimed to teach young people how to travel in the wilderness and survive for up to 3 days without shelter, running water, toilets or cooking equipment. We will teach them all they need to know from how to light and manage a fire safely to building shelters. Participants will also be shown how to cook their own food and purify water. This programme has been designed to teach young people a respect for nature and each other and will also boost self-confidence.

Residential 5 Day Summer Camp

Dates Summer

Now in our 9th year of summer camp we will be keeping the programme the same as last year. All meals, accommodation and activities will be included in the cost. With over 10 hours of activities a day and not a TV or games console in sight, this is an action packed week set to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Registration will be at 9am every Monday and pickup will be 6pm each Friday.

All abilities are welcome, no requirement to be able to swim.

Each day the day campers will be picked up at Warrenpoint Baths at 9am and returned at 6pm. They will have the opportunity to take part in a vast range of activities and enjoy the fantastic natural playground right on our doorstep.
