Our Flagship centre, Knockbarragh, can sleep up to 75 people with an additional 50 camping. All residential programmes are fully catered with healthy menus to suit all tastes. The centre can be split into two self-sufficient levels making it easy to split groups up if necessary.

We are equipped with 2 common rooms, kitchen, dining room, balcony, BBQ patio area, TV, DVD, and wireless broadband. Groups have 24-hour access to tea, coffee and snacks. The centre also boasts a large barn for wet weather and evening activities as well as a newly built football/camping pitch.

With its stunning vistas of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne and Cooley Mountains coupled with an idyllic isolated location, Knockbarragh provides the perfect launch pad for any adventure trip.

Outside session time East Coast Adventure offers a Duty Instructor Service. The Duty Instructor stays in the centre 24 hours and will assist group leaders in everything from getting the group up in the morning to organising bags onto the bus at the end of your stay. The duty instructor is also responsible for security and maintaining a safe environment for your stay.

The Foy Centre Carlingford Co Louth

Located on the edge of Carlingford village, within walking distance of the Cooley Mountains and Carlingford Laugh, the Foy Centre truly has adventure on its doorstep.

This newly built facility offers groups a purpose built residential centre with a state of the art sports hall and playing fields. Dorms are spacious, warm and comfortable, with leader rooms complete with en-suite facilities.  All residential programmes are fully catered with the addition of a self catering kitchenette for tea & coffee and snacks. The dining room is large with views of the playing fields and surrounding countryside.

The Multi Purpose Sports hall provide great wet weather alternative, allowing us to bring outdoor adventure, indoors if necessary, The sports hall is also fantastic for recreational time in the evenings. The outdoor playing area consists of a 100mtrs x60 meters playing pitch which is suitable to a variety of sporting disciplines including soccer, underage Gaelic football, hurling/camogie and rounder’s, as well as team games, archery and sport for all.

At East Coast Adventure we take meal times seriously and where possible we use local suppliers and only accept the best cuts of meat and the freshest fruit and vegetables. We cater for all tastes and dietary requirements and are happy to build a menu to suit your specific requirements.
