"Clongowes Wood College, Transition Year Programme, 4 days at East Coast Adventure Centre.

This is our 4th. year with E.C.A.C. and we have continued to return each year because it has been a very positive experience for the students and staff. E.C.A.C. run a very good programme, with a diversity of activities, land and water based, which keep the students active, engaged and challenged. The instructors are excellent, communicate well with the students and take great care of them. We have no hesitation in recommending E.C.A.C. Our students have been very positive following their trip and want to go back as do the staff. Our thanks to all who made our trip such a success. See you next year."

After two years of hosting the Fighting Blindness Mourne Mountain Challenge with East Coast Adventure, we have come to expect a very high standard and have never been disappointed. The staff are excellent, highly skilled and very friendly. We always feel right at home in the Centre and every need is catered for. All participants enjoyed incredible hikes with spectacular views while we were secure in the knowledge that everyone was safe and content.

“Having first used East Coast Adventure in 2000 it was clear we had discovered a centre of Excellence. The staff deliver a first class, high quality service, that allows participants to experience personal growth through fun and adventure. Their staff are highly skilled and motivated. It is this level of enthusiasm that encourages participants to engage participants in activities they may never have attempted, or thought possible before”

“East Coast Adventure has been providing Clanrye Group with jam packed and action filled team building adventures since 2007.  With over 150 Clanrye Wider Horizons participants passing through their doors, East Coast presents programmes to suit all ages and capabilities. The expertise and passion of the staff at the centre is evident from the outset and this merely adds to the experience. No task is too big or small for any staff member and we always feel right at home. From banana boating to team games the staff has helped each group of individuals become strong confident teams. We have enjoyed every minute of every programme and can’t wait to have lots more adventures in 2011.”

“Loreto College Swords have been travelling to East Coast Adventure Centre in Rostrevor now for the last number of years with 2nd year, 5th year and Transition year students. The most important considerations for us are the safety of our students, the professionalism of instructing staff, and the variety of activities on offer. East Coast scores highly in these areas. The geography of the area offers exhilarating outdoor education opportunities. The centre is comfortable for small to medium groups and the catering is outstanding”
